Java acting weirdly

When Duelboard is loading, sometimes the Java Cup Logo appears in the bottom right of the screen. Other times it doesn't appear. When the cup appears, the sounds are a lot different than when the cup doesn't appear. Is there any way to make the cup appear every time?

Oh god....Not another Java thing...

The cup appears somethimes for me....But it doesn't change anything..
Why do you care?

I didn't go to the trouble of downloading java just for it to not appear half the time. It also affects the performance of another java game I play.
