I went to profile and *tried to* upload a pic from my files. It didn't do anything. Help?

From my experience the picture must be 80 px by 80 px and under a certain size.

The picture I tried to upload is one I use for an MSN display pic. I assume that is too big?

Well by too big to you mean over 80 px by 80 px or a large filesize?

Yea, then you need to scale it down to (at max) 80 px by 80 px. And then the filesize should be small enough, as long as it's a gif or jpg.

And how do I do that? Knowing me I will destroy the picture.

Depends what program you have. What I do(with photoshop) is just make a new image and set the dimensions to 80 px by 80 px and then cut and paste the larger image into the new 80x80 one. I then just scale it down.

If you are having trouble doing that, just post the picture and I'll make it 80x80 for you.

Seems 16+kb is too large i suppose, well I made it a gif. It is only 7kb now, should be fine.

Bakster, you aren't the first to benefit from blitz's fine photo cropping skills.  I encourage everyone to hound Blitz for this service, and I'm sure he will be happy to oblige.
