Yes, currently you get 2 points per each other person.

BTW yesterday the score did not work. In fact nothing database-related worked. (Logging with name did not work either). So maybe that's why you thought that something's wrong with score?

maybe you should get points for each person YOU kill. for example if in a 3 player game player A kills player B. then player C kills player A.player A's points would stay the same, player B's points would go down by 2 and player C's points would go up by 2

I don't.  This way makes it even harder for people to gain points.  It will keep everyone around the same level.
