problem with fire

Im not sure if this happened on GD, but I dont think it ever did.
I was sending my laser robot on an assault, and it got ate by my own fire.
Im glad it wasent my commander, that would have been a harsh lesson. I always thought using fire was a great advantage as it offeed a hiding ground thats hazerdous to attacking opponents.
I can see why it would kill me as fire is indiscriminate, but I liked it better when the dropper was immune to it.

there is NO problem with fire, it cannot eat your own monsters. All I can imagine is that:
- it was someone else's fire beamed down just next to your fire
- someone hypnotized your monster before and you overlooked it

Posssbly someone did hypnotise it, I may have looked away for a second.
I know it was all mine though cause I checked that.

yea i think there was one time when my own fire killed me...but if you consider all the things that it could benefit you by..its well worth the risk.  ....unlike slime, it cannot be attacked and when it consumes something it is gone for good, unlike with slime.   and i think its a very rare that it happens when it kills your own guys
