Inspired by The Simpsons:

Imagine your friend has a watch that can stop time. He stops time, then hides in another room. He starts time again. To you, it appears that he just disappeared with no time space in-between him being there and him vanishing.

Imagine if your friend stops time forever, or more realistically, the watch broke. What would you see? Since time never starts again, what would happen in the eyes of you?
