Upgrades for monsters

It would be cool, however maybe too useful if there were upgrades to beef up your monsters, like with the commanders.  With an 'enhancer' of some cool name, a monster of your choice could get +1 speed/+2 defense/+1 strength etc. etc.  just an idea.
