3.2 Million homes without power.  A tree thousands of pounds was blowing down the street like a kite.  I still can't get to the digital camera with the pictures I took when I ran around during the eye passing.  I jumped over some down power lines.  They were everywhere.   Every traffic light blew off the cable.  Power line poles were snapped like toothpicks.

Glad to see you lived. The eye wall passed directly by our neighborhood, but the damage wasnt to extensive. I was without power for approx. 1 week. I'm assuming you just got it recently?

thats the only plus about living in the middle of the continent.  no oceans.  u should come up here, its nice.  no huricanes, we know how 2 vote, and only a couple twisters a year
