3. Cathy has six pairs of black gloves and six pairs of brown gloves in her drawer. In complete darkness, how many gloves must she take from the drawer in order to be sure to get a pair that match? Think carefully!!

I think it is either 7 gloves,  or just 2 because they WILL match in complete darkness

if a wood chuck could chuck wood, he would chuck wood, not chucks.
In fact a wood chuck would chuck as much wood as a wood chuck could if a wood chuck could chuck wood

The answer is 13 actually. Ults got it right, glad to know you can google ults  . Sorry for accusing you by the way parsley...
Anywho.. the answer is 13 because-
You could take 6 black gloves out, ll for your right hand.
Next, you could take 6 Brown gloves out, all for your right hand.
Lastly, no matter which glove you pick, brown or black, it will have to be one that will match the right pair.
