allow scroll in the chat...if you miss someone saying something you could just scroll up to see what you missed
dont allow for it to join games that have the countdown timer started already
put more time in the cyber battles option screen
put in boot
get rid of the grid so it will look more fun.  (this will be more doable if you increase the time to choose) i think thats what i liked more about cw than this.  its just something about the black screen that kinda makes it seem more fun.
add computers to practice against but only for single player though. 
put in option to return to the lobby if youre practicing in single player
if youre in someone else's beacon and that person dies, then all the beacons should go away(including the one youre in)
go back to manually beam commander upgrade.  that way if you want to delay that beam down next turn if someone beams technology 1 or something then you can cancel that beam and beam it next turn

I like that people can join after the countdown, a fun little supprise if they join on 1sec and you dont notice
A scroll bar in the chat would be nice though...
