castle petition

Unfortinately Jagex shared very little information.  I wrote to them saying I saw castle and was interested in how much that would cost.  They replied in a very vague email saying that they start licensing their games starting at $5000.   No other information reguarding payment was included, much to my disappointment. I suppose they were waiting to see what I wanted and how commited I would be.  Seeing that I couldn't give them money, they simply just ignored me.

I suppose they would have to spend time thinking about it, and it's not worth it for them to do that unless you want to spend money. So they just give some kind of standard response until they know.

If it was really a one-off $5000 payment to use the Castle forever, which I doubt, then it would almost certainly be possible to raise that still. But it might be a lot more than that.
