Then Why did i get let back in? I've seen the convos. I know you must be stressed out from all the shit going on in rook. Dont let them get to you...they enjoy pushing your buttons...its all a game to them. TY for unbanning me. But I do believe someone else should be a mod. Someone who can control their emotions.

I really do appreciate the site. I would hate to see it go b/c of all the drama in rook. The only way to control it is to either get a heartless mod with no emotions or ban certain words from lobby. All the cuss words and limit the amount of msgs someone sends per second...they will automatically get kicked if they go over.

I dont know what kind of coding it would take for all that but is it possible? Is it worth all that work?

The way it is now...someone is gonna have a heart attack tryin to deal with all the crazy rookers. So tell me what ya think.

I'm nobody, but you Firebird sent me a yahoo IM directing me to this post. Someone wanted rules so I just thought I'd list some "common sense" rules, since evidently some people need it in writing rather than using their brain to know how to act.

I assume you sent me the link for this post because you wanted me to take sides and tell Matlu how wrong he was, the only thing WRONG is that you were WRONG in thinking that I would come in here and "insist" that these people be unbanned from the site.

I dont know everything that is going on because I personally dont care to get into all the " drama" that seems to take place in the rook lobby. When coming into the lobby and between games I do watch quietly and it is usually the same ones. Some do it for the attention while I think others ( and very few ) may be provoked at times but.... cant we all just try to behave like adults? If someone is acting a fool , dont join in because you end up looking as bad as they do. Just ignore them and eventually if they dont get the attention they are seeking they will go on.

Also as far as the naked nics, I personally have no problem with them, although I dont have any and dont plan to have any. I guess I just look at them as silly. I mean seriously dont you imagine if we seen over half the ones with them ACTUALLY naked we would run scared lol BUT....if the person that took the time and money to make a site so that we could play rook FREE says they dont like them then will it hurt us to respect that not to use them? Does the naked nics make anyone more sexy, more special , more popular than they already are? No, it is just a nic, nothing more, so what is the big deal about not using them in showing our appreciation for the job matlu has done.

Just thought I would add my 2 cents for what it is worth lol

FoSho, you are exactly right, I DO NOT KNOW THE HALF OF IT.

This is what happens when you get people who drag other people in via instant message wanting them to jump on the "whoop you band wagon" just to add fuel to the fire!!!

If you are in the car when a bank robbery is commited then you are just as guilty as the one who did it, so if you are involved in a conflict and you get banned it doesn't matter who started it, who ended it or who fed the fire.

I agree with Cute I stay out of it, however, I have gotten involved on rare occassions and if I get banned for being involved then that is MY problem, not the sites', not the moderator and definetly not everyone on my Yahoo or MSN messenger list.

If biased moderators have been appointed and I say IF because I don't know for sure if they have and if they have I don't know who they are, but their actions will either keep them in that position or have that priviledge taken away from them if they........

Assigning moderators is a trial and error process, someone you THINK might make a good moderator might turn out to be someone who has no people skills what so ever.

As far as "innocent"

?? I know very few people on the Rook site that are truely innocent.

Bottom line is, that if you have a problem it is between you, the moderator and the site, NOT the "band wagon" that ya'll are trying to build to defend yourselves for whatever took place.

If there were rules on the site, do you think you would read them? How many people do you think read the Code of Conduct on Games.com? There were rules there and guess what, everyone complained that Games.com did not enforce their rules, now you have a site that won't put up with the crap that went on for years at Games.com and you're still not happy. Although there are no "written" rules, common sense should tell you what is appropriate and what is not, assuming the person has common sense, and if he/she didn't then a page of rules isn't going to matter to them to begin with.

AND YES PROROOK SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THE SITE FOREVER BECAUSE HE IS NEVER GOING TO CHANGE.

I also agree that an uncensored lobby would be nice for all you people who choose to use words that offend others or who like to have cyber sex, if by some means you feel this makes you more popular?

If you people knew how to have an "intelligent" disagreement without people getting all blown out of proportion, cursing each other, yelling etc. then maybe you wouldn't get banned from the site, but seems you can't discuss something in a calm manner, someone always has to pour gas on the fire and all you matches light up and "whoosh" next thing you know, there's a major explosion!!!

Naked is not an offense word to me, we were all brought into this world naked.

Okay, let me put my 2 cents into this since you all are talking about my husband and his naked nics. For one thing he has had the nic KingNaked for the last 5 years and through two different sites (Games.com and Gameland). He has also used this nic at the Nashville Tourneys, Atlanta Tourney, and North Carolina Tourney and has never had a problem before. But now you have this new site where Maltu seems to have a problem with it and I do know why. I have never heard anyone say anything about his nics. I seem to like them. Everyone has their own nics that they like. I like mine, TweetyRulzz, and will always like it. As for the banning, people are getting banned for no reason at all. If they gonna ban people, then they need to find out what is really going on first before they go to banning and if they gonna ban one person for fighting then they need to ban everyone for fighting.
